About The Old Habit
The Old Habit was founded, and is directed by Gillian Du Pont, an English horsewoman now living in Northern Virginia's hunt country. Members of her staff have strong backgrounds in all aspects of riding. Tuppence, Ms. Du Pont's border terrier, serves as official greeter. Tea-time, as well as major credit cards, are honored. Getting to The Old Habit From Washington, D.C.and East.Take I-66 WEST,to exit #28 Marshall. Right onto Rte 17[bus]North to Stop sign. Left onto Rte 55 [West Main St] go a few hundred yards to Post Office on left . We are next to PO at 8363 West Main St. 800 813 0515 From Richmond and South.Take 95North past Fredericksburg,then Rte 17North towards Warrenton,follow signs for Warrenton,at Warrenton continue to follow Rte 17North to Marshall, at the Stop sign in Marshall,turn left onto West Main St(Rte 55). We are a few hundred yards up on the left next to the Post Office, 8363 West Main St 800 813 0515 From Front Royal & the West,take I66East to the first Marshall Exit #27, turn left. Go to end and turn right onto Rte 55[West Main St]. Go to 8363 West Main St. The Old Habit is on the right, next to the Post Office. From Winchester,take Rte 50East to Paris, then right onto Rte 17South to Rte I66East to the first Marshall exit #27,turn left, at the deadend turn right onto West Main St[Rte 55].
